2. AVAILABILITIES
2.1 July and August: almóada is available on a weekly basis (from Saturday to Saturday). For stays shorter than one week, a full week rate applies. For one extra day, an extra full week rate applies. For stays longer than two weeks and for private events, please contact us directly.
Full property rental only.
2.2 From September to June: almóada is available on a daily and on a weekly basis but for a minimum rate equivalent to 3 nights, applicable to stays of 1, 2 or 3 nights. From the 3rd night onwards, the daily rate applies. For stays longer than two weeks and for private events, please contact us directly.
Possibility to rent one or more bedrooms with access to full facilities and services - price on request.
3. RESTRICTIONS, RESERVATION AND PAYMENTS
3.1 Maximum House Capacity: Maximum 8 guests (no extra beds).
3.2. Age restriction and ID: Minimum age for guests is 12 years old. We take no responsibility for guests aged less than 12 years old visiting the house without prior consent. A copy of all guests' ID/Passport documents should be shared by email at least one week before the start of your stay. Any breaching of these conditions is subject to immediate check-out with no reimbursement.
3.3 Pets: Not allowed (due to the characteristics of the farmstead).
3.4 Payments: Down Payment of 50% at reservation. The remainder 50% + a Damage Deposit of 500 EUR shall be paid no later than 8 weeks before the check-in date. When booking within less than 8 weeks before check-in date, the total reservation amount + the Damage Deposit must be fully paid at reservation. If no damage and no missing objects at the end of your stay, the Damage Deposit will be refunded within 5 business days after check-out date. In order to ease financial management, the Damage Deposit amount can also be used at the end of the stay to cover for part or the total fees related to in-house experiences, honesty bar and Scents boutique shopping.
4. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
CHECK IN: from 4 pm. CHECK-OUT: until 10 am.
5. CANCELLATION POLICY:
In case of cancellation more than 12 weeks before the check-in date, you will receive the Down Payment back. In case of cancellation within the period of 12 weeks before check-in date, no refund will take place. No refund for no-show. If you choose to re-book your stay, the amount paid so far will be retained as a credit for your future booking. We are obviously sensitive to force majeure reasons, as long as duly evidenced.
6. CHANGE OF LINEN AND TOWELS:
All stays include fresh bed linen, bathroom towels and pool/beach towels at arrival + final house cleaning at the end of the stay. For weekly or longer stays, mid-week small cleaning (bedroom + bathroom) is included on request, and bed linen and bathroom towels will be changed every 7 days. Pool/beach towels are changed every 7 days on request.
Housekeeping/Cleaning “a la carte”: please request at least 4 weeks before check-in. An extra fee will be charged for each extra day of cleaning, depending on the guests’ requirements.
7. GUESTS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
Please note that the property is partially suitable to guests with reduced mobility (1 ensuite bedroom). Please contact-us directly for full info.
8. EVENTS, CELEBRATIONS AND NOISE
No private events, parties or noisy celebrations are allowed without prior consent. Please contact us beforehand.
9. PROTECTION OF EQUIPMENT, DECOR AND OBJECTS
We have a full inventory with pictures of all decorative items displayed around the house, as well as of household equipment and products on-sale. We kindly ask you to NOT touch/move any decorative objects. Some may look old, but most objects are of great emotional value to us, and we reserve the right to ask what we consider to be fair value in case of damage or loss. If you are curious about any object, we can ask the concierge or book our Flavors, Wine & Art experience for a full guided tour. The only objects on sale are duly identified and priced. 10. PRESERVE OUR FLOORS MADE WITH CENTURY-OLD TERRACOTTA TILES
You will easily notice that the house floor is made of very old terracotta tiles. These unique tiles made with local natural clay are very sensitive to any type of product and easily get stained with fat, wine etc. We therefore kindly ask you to pay attention to it, avoiding eating and drinking outside the designated areas (kitchen and pergola). If you accidentally drop something on the floor, please make sure to clean it immediately after so as to avoid absorption. Thank you so much for contributing to the longevity spirit of almóada.
11. SCREEN DETOX
We have a free Wi-Fi connection with professional signal in the main living areas, but a very limited signal in resting/sleeping areas. We proudly inform our guests that almóada is a TV screen-free house. In recent years, screens have pushed the world forward in many ways, but they have also drastically affected human relations, to a point that we barely see kids playing outdoors. We therefore encourage our guests to adopt a screen-detox lifestyle during your holiday-stay, going offline as much as they can and foster relations between family, friends or with us, through the many experiences that we have at your disposal!
12. SMOKING
Smoking inside the house is strictly forbidden. Smoking outside is allowed as long as guests use the ashtrays available at the honesty pool-bar. We do not assume responsibility for any fire or damage caused by negligent toss or cigarettes left outside ashtrays.
13. KITCHEN & RUBBISH
Our kitchen is your kitchen and we kindly ask you to leave it clean and tidy before check-out. Please kindly preserve all elements and equipment like if they were yours. Please kindly empty rubbish bins on a daily basis (there is a trash container very close to the house). Three rubbish bins are available: kitchen and honesty bar. 14. GARDEN & POOL MAINTENANCE
Garden & Pool maintenance is included (every 2, 3 or 4 days when necessary). We agree with guests on the most convenient timing to do so.
15. POOL HEATING SYSTEM
For ecological reasons, our pool heating system is available outside summer season (or during summer season if temperatures drop).
